Cordyceps Extract and Sexual Dysfunction
Since Viagra became available on the market in 1998, the interest in natural alternatives has also peaked in terms of sexual potentiators. And maybe we don’t have to look very far. Traditional Chinese Medicine has an herbal product they’ve been using for that purpose for 2000 years called Cordyceps sinensis.
The mushroom Cordyceps sinensis does have a common name in English, Caterpillar fungus, although many more people know it by its Latin name as just “Cordyceps.” In its natural environment, it can be found only at high altitudes in the mountains of China and Tibet. Considering its minute size, it is a ‘small’ (pun intended) miracle that anyone ever discovered it and thought to use it as a medicinal mushroom.
Since the time of Christ, Oriental physicians have administered Cordyceps sinensis to improve physical as well as sexual prowess and stamina. The earliest written record of this can be found in the book The Classic Herbal of the Divine Plowman. from around 200 A.D.
There is a reason why the common English name for Cordyceps is Caterpillar fungus. In nature, it grows as a parasite on silk-worm caterpillars, eventually killing them, and finally sprouting out of their dead bodies. Not very appetizing, is it? However, Cordyceps sinensis can now be grown on a rice medium and harvested free from any caterpillar carcasses, heavy metals, or contaminating bacteria and funguses. Cordyceps grown under these controlled conditions has been shown to contain the same therapeutic compounds as its wild counter-parts.
A Chinese paper published in 1985, thirteen years before the release of Viagra, found a statistically significant improvement in erectile dysfunction (64%) when the subjects were administered 1,000 mg of Cordyceps sinensis per day. [1]
So what’s the mechanism behind Cordyceps’ apparent effect as an aphrodisiac and sexual potentiator? The following three factors may help explain:
- At least three studies have demonstrated that Cordyceps sinensis helps improve physical stamina and prowess in general. [2,3,4] In the early 1990′s, nine Chinese women broke world records when the Chinese National Games were held. When interviewed about their success, they unanimously gave credit to their use of Cordyceps extract. [5,6]
- Increasing blood flow appears to be another function of Cordyceps sinensis, which could help explain its effect on erectile dysfunction. Two studies have indicated that it does so by diluting blood vessels, thus increasing blood perfusion. [7,8]
- Last but not least, Cordyceps extract was shown in two studies to cause a significant increase in the testosterone production in male subjects. [9,10]

Foot Reflexology From A Massage Chair Can Soothe Discomfort Stemming From Stress
Ever come home with a little stress or anxiety? The constant pressures of work and home life can cause a build up of stress and anxiety in the body. Perhaps you have had the pleasure of having a foot massage? A foot reflexology does more than just make your feet feel better. In fact, foot reflexology massage is thought to alleviate many ailments including back pain, stress and headaches. Get daily stress and anxiety relief with a Foot Reflexology massage with a massage chair.
The art of reflexology has advanced with modern technology. From the beginning of time, people practiced massage therapy. Many ancient societies noticed that there were correlations between applying pressure on the feet in hands and relief of discomfort in certain organs. By applying pressure in certain areas of the feet, pain and discomfort was relieved in other parts of the body. These areas have been thoroughly mapped and now they are known as reflexology points.
Almost 100 years ago, modern science was applied to the art of foot reflexology. The result of these studies was to correlate the applying of pressure in areas of the feet to healing in different organs in the body. Strong correlations were found which resulted in zones of the feet being defined as reflexology points. Applying gentle or firm pressure in these areas induced relaxation in specific organs of the body. This brought the art of reflexology into the science of reflexology.
Reflexology helps to reverse the process started by the nervous system. When we are under pressure, most of the time it is mental. We think this is the end of the world and then our body gets nervous and worked up, but our body does not physically have to do anything. Stress from physical harm is the reaction that gets the body all worked up. This stress helps the body prepare for physical action. Mental stress is like a false alarm for the body to prepare for a fight. This stress works the body up and foot reflexology on the other hand works the body back down.
Now with the advance of technology, effective reflexology massages are being integrated into the premier massage chair brands. Companies like Panasonic, Omega among others have developed technology providing foot reflexology massage. The Panasonic EP30004 Real Pro Ultra Massage Chair or the Omega Montage Premier massage chair both incorporate foot reflexology massage. These massage chair recliners can provide daily relief of built up tension and anxiety.
An interesting finding about Foot Reflexology massage is that it must be applied on a frequent basis. This makes a lot of sense, since stress is applied to us on a frequent basis as well. The stress if left unchecked builds up in the body. Muscles become tenser and less flexible. This tension needs to be relieved. The release of this tension must be relieved in parallel to its build up. Foot reflexology applied more frequently is found to be most effective.
To get the full benefit of foot reflexology massage, it needs to be administered on a frequent basis. This can be inconvenient to have to always go to a massage therapist to receive treatment. Another terrific alternative is a massage chair recliner. Receive a daily reflexology foot massage at the end of a long day. Just come home, kick off your shoes and let your massage chair melt the stress and anxiety away.

Ideas for Painting Indoors
Redecorating or renovating your home is never easy and it just gets especially harder and more tedious when you need to paint as well. Slapping on one coat of paint after another can be draining if you’re doing it alone and still have the whole house to think about.
And let’s not even start talking about those ceilings! But even though you may stick to the same old staid exterior paint job, it doesn’t have to be the same for the interior – you could always try some outlandish but wonderful interior painting ideas. If nothing else you’ll be guaranteeing a reaction from all those who enter your house.
By keeping the exterior painting to the necessary minimum, you can spend more time and more creativity inside. You can let your imagination run wild with all those interior painting ideas you always wanted to implement but never got around to. There’s no time like the present, and really, when are you going to get around to painting your house again?
Don’t get alarmed though, when I’m talking about out of this world interior painting ideas I’m not saying that you should go with something that resembles a Picasso painting. I’m talking about something more along the lines of a paint job that will reflect back who you are.
Your interior painting ideas do not need to be anything more than a streak of vibrant colour on one wall, with by soothing colours on the other walls. This works very well in any house and the vibrant colour that you choose can be either soothing or primal, depending on what you want to show about yourself. You could, of course, always go to extremes and paint all the walls a bright vibrant shade or even mix and match different shades on different walls.
If you’re doing this then you might want to think about the effect you’ll create and whether you can actually live with the colour scheme. Wild and inspired interior painting ideas are all well and good, but you should always take into account whether you’re going to be able to stand the sight of your newly panted walls or not next month. If you are going to have to repaint everything again, it kind of defeats the purpose.
This doesn’t mean that you should restrain your creativity or stifle your interior painting ideas, all it means is that some of the bolder ideas you have, should perhaps be the subject of a small test-run somewhere else.
Don’t think of painting your house as a chore. If you really want to, you can always think of yourself as Michelangelo or Da Vinci or any one of those great artists and paint a stunning picture on your walls. The only requirement is that you turn your great interior painting ideas into reality and that you have fun while you’re at it.

Neuro Linguistic Programming Is All About The Brain’s Relationship With Language And Behavior
NeuroLinguistic Programming model first came into reality when a linguist and a mathematician got together to study the human brain and the psychology behind its functioning when it receives data from the sensory organs. This field of study is quite various and in a way advanced from many old behavioral psychologies as it is the only study that takes language into account.
Neurolinguistic programming states that our brain is regularly radiating information and communicating with others whether or not we are aware of it. ThatsThat is why numerous times we sense what others are thinking or vice-versa. Our body language, facial expressions, eye contact and other simple gestures all are contingent on what our brain is thinking at that point in time.
There are many channels of communications and numerous expert orators use these channels to connect with their audience. When individuals feel an instant connection to a person, their speech, expression or gesture, they usually interpret it as that person being charismatic.
Neurolinguistic program realizes the substance of having a rapport with persons to get ahead in this competitive world. You may only attain success if you do more than just your work in your organization. Why do you think some individuals are climbing the ladder of success much faster than their peers or subordinates? It is because they have a natural flair for people.
According to neurolinguistic the way you utilise your language; either by speech or words; similarly establishes how well you can connect with individuals around you. Some languages have limitations in vocabulary thus you can’t express your thoughts and feeling well by utilising that language. It may be good expressed in a good number of other language which has a broader vocabulary.
But such limitations in language can Always be compensated by other expressions such as body language, eye contact or other gestures. These too are means of communicating with individuals. If your thoughts, feelings, words and behavior are synchronized, you are usually in a good position to get your words across the way you intended it to be. All these are thought in neurolinguistic techniques.
Neurolinguistic emphasizes on language as it is how we communicate to the world. And language, as mentioned earlier require not be spoken words-they may be written or any other bodily gestures. With language we can make our dreams into reality. This is feasible only if we share our thoughts and feelings with people through language.
The co-founder of NLP, John Grinder, who is a linguist himself, was fascinated how expert therapists utilized their language patterns with their patient for effective treatment. Thats when he thought of coming up with a model called neurolinguistic programming.
